A One-of-a-Kind Aussie Wildlife Sleepover - Only in July & August This summer, Gan Garoo - Israel’s Australian wildlife zoo, invites you and your family for an unforgettable overnight experience. Camp out under the stars, enjoy an exclusive guided night tour, and wake up alongside kangaroos and other amazing animals. This premium experience is limited to a small number of families - don’t miss out!

What to Expect

As darkness falls, we’ll gather in a cozy, green camping area and set out on a magical flashlight tour through the zoo. Discover what happens when the sun goes down and meet nocturnal animals as they come to life. We’ll greet the kangaroos with a “goodnight,” enjoy free time in the illuminated “Gan Go Yura” dinosaur maze, and relax in our tent village.

The next morning, wake to the sounds of nature and receive a breakfast package delivered to your tent. Then, join us for the “Good Morning, Gan Garoo” tour, meet the animals you didn’t see at night, watch the first feeding of the day, and witness their unique morning routines.

Arrival & Setup

Guests may arrive from 6:00 PM. You’ll pitch your tent in a spacious grassy area next to the restrooms and the Gan Go Yura dinosaur maze.

What’s Included (for ages 2 and up)

  • Admission to Gan Garoo

  • Family tent camping in the zoo

  • Night tour of the animal exhibits, including a close-up encounter with the kangaroo mob and other nocturnal Aussie species

  • Free time in the colorfully lit dinosaur maze (Gan Go Yura)

Important Notes & Guidelines

We believe in connecting with nature, and that includes respecting the rhythm of the animals and the peace of the environment. Please review the following rules and tips:

  • No fires, BBQs, or gas stoves

  • No pets allowed

  • No smoking near the tents (designated smoking area available)

  • After dark, guests must not walk alone in the zoo grounds

  • Please refrain from playing music in the tent area

  • During tours, keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing the animals

  • Tents must be packed up by 9:00 AM

  • After the morning tour, feel free to stay in the zoo as long as you like

  • Advance registration required – select your date at the time of booking

  • Activity is for ages 2 and up (payment applies accordingly)

  • Bring your own tent, sleeping gear, closed-toe shoes, and mosquito repellent

  • Activity is subject to a minimum number of participants

  • No discounts or club benefits apply to this special event

Cancellation Policy

  • Gan Garoo may cancel the activity up to 48 hours in advance if the minimum number of participants is not met. In such cases, you’ll receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations by guests are accepted up to 48 hours before the event and incur a 5% cancellation fee.

  • No refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
