Gan Garoo Zoo recognizes the important role of modern zoos in scientific research, conservation, education, and animal welfare. In line with the values promoted by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), we support and encourage research projects that contribute to the understanding and protection of wildlife.
The diversity of species in zoos, together with professional animal care staff, long-term documentation, and cooperation between zoological institutions, creates valuable opportunities for research in animal behavior, welfare, veterinary sciences, breeding, nutrition, ecology, sustainability, conservation, education, and more.
